For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by texture and the physical stories that materials carry. My journey as an artist has been one of continual transformation—learning to trust intuition over perfection and finding joy in the hands-on rhythm of creation.

Working with encaustic wax, handmade papers, fibers, and curious found objects allows me to build dimensional worlds layer by layer. The process is intensely physical: fusing, sculpting, distressing, and revealing what lies beneath the surface. I love the balance between control and unpredictability—how the warmth of the wax binds delicate, manipulating papers and structural elements into something entirely new.

I construct my pieces not just to be seen, but to be felt. By honoring the raw, unrefined quality of handmade fibers and textural substrates, I aim to create work that feels organic and grounded. My hope is that viewers feel inspired to linger, look closer, and uncover their own quiet discoveries within the layers.
